Airservices WAM and A-SMGCS Projects

Installation of a significant number of new antennae around Australia as part of the WAM and A-SMGCS projects.

The structural engineers at SCE Australia were responsible for all structural designs associated with the TASWAM, SYDWAM, Melbourne A-SMGCS, Sydney A-SMGCS, Brisbane A-SMGCS and Perth A-SMGCS projects.  These projects involved undertaking detailed site inspections of existing towers and rooftops and identifying and designing suitable antenna support structures.  With our working at heights training, we were able to scale many of the towers, which gave us great insight to the existing conditions and aided the design of efficient mounting systems.
